Electric Shuffle is the perfect spot for competitive fun

Electric Shuffle has established itself as one of London’s popular venues for something a bit different compared to your usual drinks. The souped-up shuffleboard game offers a chance to have some fun and get competitive with your friends, and Express Sport recently had a go in their Canary Wharf location.

With another venue also in London Bridge, groups at Electric Shuffle are given their own shuffleboard table with room to enjoy some food and drink. Players are split into two teams and compete against each other to have the highest individual score and to be the overall winning squad. 

There are multiple games to choose from and the electronic technology means that every part of your game will be documented from start to finish. Players take a photo alone and with their team at the start which is used to preview every head-to-head game.

And there are replays of exciting moments ready to watch back on the screen as soon as someone has landed an impressive shot, with everything sent to you by email the following day to relive the experience. The alternating match-ups of players on different teams kept things exciting though some members of Express Sport were clearly better at shuffleboard than others.

It’s also easy to get any food and drink to your area, with a button on the game screen to call a host over to take your order. And shuffleboard isn’t the only thing they know well at Electric Shuffle – the pizzas are delicious and there’s a huge range of cocktails and mocktails as well as your usual drinks – alcoholic or not.

In two busy locations in the middle of London, it’s perfect to pop into for some after-work fun, to bring a group of friends for an occasion, or to book a shuffleboard table with your family and get competitive.
