<\/p>\nFootball fans were left gutted as Amazon Prime's omission from Premier League broadcasting means Ally McCoist will likely not feature in any domestic coverage. <\/p>\n
The former Scottish international is one of the most popular co-commentators in the business and is a regular when the streaming platform broadcasts Premier League matches. However, Amazon lost all of their broadcasting rights from the 2025\/26 season onwards, as the Premier League gave more games to TNT Sport and Sky Sports.<\/p>\n
The new deal is worth an eye-watering \u00a36.7billion. Nevertheless, despite the new broadcast deal being celebrated by the division, some fans were left disappointed Amazon were omitted from the new deal.<\/p>\n

Prime Video is available as part of the Amazon Prime membership, which costs \u00a38.99 per month or \u00a395 annually for an individual.<\/p>\n
The membership gives access to all the perks of Amazon Prime (including free Premium and Same- Day Delivery in selected residential postcodes, and other benefits) plus the full library of content available through Prime Video. <\/p>\n
Prime also offers a discounted membership, Prime Student for higher education students.<\/p>\n
You can also sign-up for Prime Video on its own for \u00a35.99 per month, however, you won\u2019t get the other benefits that come with Prime \u2014 like free One-Day Delivery and Same-Day Delivery on eligible orders and fast grocery delivery and pickup.<\/p>\n

The new deal will see Sky Sports show 215 Premier League matches a season for four years, starting in the 2025\/26 campaign. TNT Sports will show 52 matches per season over the course of the same period. <\/p>\n

Sky Sports pundits Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville celebrated the new deal by sharing a mocked up poster of their faces photo-shopped onto the cover of iconic comedy movie Dumb and Dumber. Of the 215 matches, Sky have said more than 140 will be played at weekends, including Friday nights.<\/p>\n
They will also get the first pick of the weekend matches while also maintaining the 4.30pm Super Sunday slot they are known for. <\/p>\n
