Brighton are taking on Wolves at the Amex Stadium this evening where the Seagulls are hoping to turn around their dismal form. Brighton won only once at home in the Premier League in 2020 and could match that record here tonight in 2021, but they will have to overcome a Wolves side in mixed form with only one win in their past five league games.

Brighton start the game with a back three and wingbacks, but there is no Tariq Lamptey who remains sidelined with a hamstring injury. Wolves deploy at back four with Nelson Semedo and Rayan Ait-Nouri as the full-backs either side of the captain Conor Coady and Romain Saiss.

Sheffield United have set an unwanted record of 17 games without victory from the start of a season – they remain bottom of the table.

90+4 mins: Full time. A perfect result for Roy Hodgson’s Crystal Palace. Goals fro Schlupp and Eze were enough to see off Chris Wilder’s Sheffield United who once again looked bereft of creativity in the final third. Crystal Palace’s three points take them up to 12th with the Blades still rock bottom. Things are looking fairly grim for the team from Sheffield.

90 mins: Hackford gets free in the box and takes a rare shot for Crystal Palace that gets blocked. Four added minutes to play.

88 mins: Palace are looking to hold on to their second clean sheet this season. Fleck receives a yellow card for taking out Townsend in the middle of the pitch.

85 mins: This will be Crystal Palace’s first home win in five games if they can see out the game. Sheffield United aren’t putting up much opposition to change this.

82 mins: John Fleck whips a corner into the box for Sheffield United. A bunch of bodies go for the ball and James McArthur wins the header to clear the danger for Palace.

79 mins: 16-year-old Antwoine Hackford comes on for Sheffield United. He becomes the Blades’ youngest ever Premier League player as he replaces Ben Osborn. There’s just over 10 minutes to go with the Blades trailing by two goals. Good luck.

75 mins: Palace win a corner that’s fired deep into the box. Ramsdale comes out and plucks the ball out of the air. He throws it forward quickly to try and spark a counter attack but Kouyate is there again to cut it out.

72 mins: A Blades free kick is swung into the box and it’s headed out to Fleck. He takes a shot from range and Kouyate blocks it out for a corner. The corner ball is swung into the box but Palace defend this one as well. Good defending from the home side.
