West Ham right back Fredericks won't face Everton due to Covid-19

West Ham right back Ryan Fredericks misses Everton clash as he’s self-isolating due to Covid-19… as Lukasz Fabianski is replaced by Darren Randolph at the last minute at Goodison Park after pulling up in the warm-up

David Moyes has explained that Ryan Fredericks is absent for the trip to high-flying Everton because the West Ham right back is self-isolating due to Covid-19. 

The 28-year-old has only made four starts for the Hammers, with the most recent of those coming in the 0-0 draw against Southampton at St Mary’s on December 29.

Vladimir Coufal has impressed as the team’s first choice right back since arriving from Slavia Prague in October.

Lukasz Fabianski pulled up in the warm-up at Goodison Park with Darren Randolph coming in

Moyes returns to his former club with the Toffees in with a chance of moving second by the end of Friday if they better Manchester United’s result against Aston Villa.

West Ham have also had to make a late change to the starting line-up with Lukasz Fabianski pulling up injured in the warm-up. 

The Pole has been replaced by Darren Randolph as third-choice goalkeeper David Martin moves onto the substitutes’ bench.
