This is Tottenham’s final home game before Armistice Day so there will be a minute silence to mark it as well as the tragic events at Leicester City on Saturday.
Pleased to say this was impeccably observed as the Last Post was played.
Here’s a look at the table before the game. City are chasing a win that would fire them back to the top of the table, while Spurs will seek three points to put them third in the table.

‘I am worried for both sides,’ Pochettino told Sky Sports. ‘It’s not in the best condition. Result is important but most important is players finish the game at a really good level.’
Sounds like a manager who would rather his side just not pick up any injuries rather than beat Man City. Is that Spurs basically packing the suitcase for three points and preparing them for a one-way trip to Manchester?

City make three changes following their 3-0 win at Shakhtar Donetsk as Kyle Walker, Bernardo Silva and Sergio Aguero come in for Nicolas Otamendi, Kevin de Bruyne and Gabriel Jesus.

The NFL does not seem to have gone away, we have a United States women’s player in the building and even some Aussie Rules…
JERMAINE JENAS: Tottenham’s goalkeeper Hugo Lloris needs to step up after too many big-game blunders
‘Tottenham suffered two high-profile errors in Eindhoven.
‘The first, from Toby Alderweireld, doesn’t worry me. I can’t remember another mistake like that from him in his three years at Spurs.
‘It may be that as he gets older and picks up more injuries, his stats drop off a bit. But a smart player, as he is, will take account of that and adjust his game.
‘The second error from Hugo Lloris is more of a worry. He’s meant to be one of Mauricio Pochettino’s main men, his captain. But he’s let him down too many times.’

Wrong. Far from the pristine pitches we are used to in the Premier League, this could be a tricky surface for one if not both these sides tonight who like to keep the ball on the ground and pass the opposition to death.
Three NFL games in the past couple of weeks have left Football HQ in a state, and I’m not sure we have seen a pitch this bad in about 15 years.
I seem to remember Chelsea vs Charlton Athletic at Stamford Bridge being played on a surface that more resembled a beach. Either way it is still better than any of the Sunday League pitches I played on as a kid.
