The Ligue 1 champions confirmed the 46-year-old German sprained his left ankle on Thursday

The Italian international sustained a calf injury after colliding with team-mate Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting in an intra-squad game on Tuesday, according to French outlet L’Equipe

Meanwhile, Mbappe is recovering from the sprained ankle he suffered following a challenge from Loic Perrin in the final of the Coupe de France against Saint-Etienne on July 24.

The star forward has not suffered any ligament damage but is now in a race against time to be fit for the clash in Portugal next week.

It comes as a blow ahead of their tie with Atalanta with midfielder Marco Verratti already out

Star forward Kylian Mbappe is also a doubt following his injury in the Coupe de France final

German defender Thilo Kehrer was also injured in that same final and went off early on in proceedings, while Kurzawa has been suffering with thigh issues since last week.

In addition, midfielder Angel Di Maria will serve a one-match suspension for the one-off quarter-final against Atalanta, after the Argentine picked up a yellow card back in March against Borussia Dortmund.

Despite the number of injuries, the French outfit did warm up for the Champions League tie with an 8-0 thrashing of second-tier side Sochaux in an 80-minute friendly on Wednesday.

PSG’s clash against surprise packages Atalanta kicks-off the Champions League final-eight tournament in the Portuguese capital next week.

Angel Di Maria will also miss the one-off tie against the Italian side through suspension
