Manchester United will sell Paul Pogba this summer if he does not commit to a new contract with the club, according to reports. Pogba’s current contract at Old Trafford expires at the end of next season. The France international has long been linked with a move away from the club.

Pogba has been influential in United’s recent form under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

However, speculation still remains over his long-term future at the club.

And The Sun claim the Red Devils will seek a buyer for the 28-year-old if he doesn’t sign a new deal.

However, the report claims United are confident Pogba will put pen to paper, though it could cost the club up to £500,000 a week in wages.

Pogba has made 37 appearances in all competitions for United this season, scoring six goals including one in the 6-2 drubbing of Roma in the Europa League semi-final first leg last Thursday.

Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola was recently asked about the future of the midfielder.

Raiola insists there is “great responsibility” on him to find the right club for Pogba and says the former Juventus star’s aim of winning the Champions League is clear.

“When a player asks you what we are going to do, it is a great responsibility,” Raiola told AS.

“That’s when you stay up all night thinking what is better… I try to make it a process together with the footballer to see what is really in his heart.

“[Zlatan] Ibrahimovic knows that I was against him going to Barca, and he wanted to because it was a Barca of a very high level.

“And although people may think otherwise, I believe that (that failed move) was a great thing, not a great defeat. Because he learned much more in six months than in long stages of his life.

“With Pogba, the important thing now is to know what United wants, what project they are proposing to Pogba.

“Pogba is interested in one thing, winning the Champions League and winning titles, and we are going to see where this is possible, if [it is] at United or at other clubs.”

Real Madrid have long been admirers of Pogba and Raiola was also asked why that move is yet to come about.

“It is a question [one should] ask Madrid,” he responded.

“At one time Pogba felt a lot of love and trust from United, and there were several other clubs.

“Later, it is very difficult for United and Madrid to understand each other for a great transfer, because strong clubs do not want to sell strong players to other strong clubs.

“And I’m not going to kid you, for Pogba, playing at Real Madrid was always a really attractive thing, because of Zidane. He’s his [Pogba’s] childhood hero.”
