Man Utd fans spot Bruno Fernandes’ reaction to Marcus Rashford’s late winner
Marcus Rashford netted an injury-time winner to hand Manchester United a 1-0 victory over Wolves on Tuesday night – and Red Devils fans were quick to point out how passionately Bruno Fernandes celebrated his late goal.
United are now just two points adrift of Premier League champions and leaders Liverpool, with the two due to meet in a crucial encounter at Anfield on January 17.
It looked as if they had missed the chance to close the gap on Jurgen Klopp’s men at Old Trafford on Tuesday, having failed to break down a resilient Wolves side after 90 minutes at Old Trafford.
But deep into stoppage time, Fernandes found Rashford with a looping ball over the top and the England ace cut in on his left foot, before sending a deflected effort past Rui Patricio and into the back of the net.
United stars were understandably jubilant after snatching an extra two points in the dying seconds of the game, yet it was the reaction of Fernandes which particularly caught United fans’ eyes.
When Rashford’s deflected shot went in, Amazon Prime cameras zoomed in on the Portugal midfielder, who wheeled away whilst waving both arms about in celebration.
He has become an integral member of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side since joining from Sporting Lisbon last January, displaying leadership qualities as well as technical brilliance on the pitch.

And the Old Trafford faithful were absolutely delighted with his reaction to Rashford’s late goal on the night.
One wrote: “Love this guy, best signing since CR7”.
“I love him, literally the reason we are where we are,” said another.
A third commented: “How can you not love this man”.
While another said: “Bruno bringing back an almost lost mentality to Old Trafford. Can’t help loving him”.
United are now being tipped to compete in the Premier League title race after extending their unbeaten run to nine games.

But Rashford insists the team are keeping their feet on the ground, telling Amazon Prime: "We can't look too far ahead. We are a team that is still doing a lot of work on ourselves and to be looking at the table so early on in the season is a bit stupid of us.
“We have to take it one game at a time and if we can keep finding ways to win like this we will see where we are at the end of the season.”
