Man Utd ace Pellestri explains Cavani advice after regular chats in training
Manchester United ace Facundo Pellestri has opened up on the advice Edinson Cavani has given him during training.
The two were signed on deadline day in the transfer window with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer pulling out a late double deal.
Cavani, 33, arrived as an undisputed goal-machine, having left Paris St-Germain as their highest-ever goalscorer after his contract expired.
While Pellestri joined from Uruguayan club Penarol as an 18-year-old for a fee of around £9m.
With one entering the final years of his career, Cavani has been keen to pass on advice to his younger countryman.
And Pellestri has revealed all on the chats he has had with the veteran striker, who is also a national legend.
“I'm settled here,” said Pellistri. “Thanks to my team-mates and obviously my family from Uruguay, I am now feeling at home in this country, which is all new to me.
"Most of the South American team-mates are the ones who I am more close to but, obviously, I am all fine with everyone.
"Every team-mate here is very kind – in the first team, and also the Under-23s who I started playing with.
