Liverpool’s Jordan Henderson and Naby Keita await return to full training
Liverpool pair Jordan Henderson and Naby Keita are still yet to return to full training with the first-team squad.
Henderson and £48m summer-recruit Keita trained on their own on Wednesday, taking part in individual sessions as they continue to recover from their respective hamstring injuries.
Both players were not in the match-day squad for Liverpool’s 4-1 win over Cardiff on Saturday and the midweek victory over Red Star Belgrade in the Champions League.
Keita, who suffered a strain while on international duty with Guinea in October, also missed the 1-0 win at Huddersfield on October 20.
With only a few training sessions left before Liverpool’s trip to Arsenal on Saturday, it is doubtful whether or not they will be involved at the weekend.
Jurgen Klopp’s side are second in the Premier League after 10 games and have gone unbeaten thus far – level on 26 points with leaders Manchester City – who have a superior goal difference.
