Glenn Hoddle filmed playing teqball with Paul Ince before falling seriously ill

Glenn Hoddle was filmed laughing as he played teqball with Paul Ince shortly before he was taken seriously ill.

The Tottenham and England legend collapsed at the BT Sport studio after appearing on Saturday Morning Sav.

Shortly after midday, host Robbie Savage and guest Steve Sidwell shared footage in their Instgram stories, showing Hoddle in good spirits as he celebrated his 61st birthday in the studio.

Savage, a Mirror Football columnist, posted a video showing Hoddle playing teqball – a cross between table tennis and football – in the BT Sport studio.

Former Chelsea and Fulham midfielder Sidwell’s clip showed him playing the same game with ex-Manchester United and Liverpool star Paul Ince.

Not long after, Hoddle – who had been presented with a birthday cake live on air – was rushed to hospital after being taken ill.
