Gary Lineker has issued an apology for the BBC’s coverage of Christian Eriksen’s collapse during Denmark’s Euro 2020 opener against Finland on Saturday. The 29-year-old fell to the floor in the closing stages of the first half, with TV cameras showing multiple shots of medics attempting to resuscitate the midfielder on the turf.
