Erling Haaland’s transfer stance emerges amid Man Utd and Real Madrid interest

Borussia Dortmund star Erling Haaland reportedly remains eager to play for Real Madrid in the future.

Haaland only joined the Bundesliga giants a year ago though has regularly impressed and been constantly linked with another move.

Premier League giants Manchester United are believed to be keen with Red Devils manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer a compatriot of the forward.

Real Madird have constantly been linked with Haaland, with his good friend Martin Odegaard at the Bernabeu.

And Spanish outlet AS claim Odegaard is trying to entice Haaland to Los Blancos with Madrid knowing of Haaland’s desire to play for the La Liga giants.

Haaland’s agent Mino Raiola recently said: "I cant speak about Haaland's release clause at the moment.

“I’m also not surprised that Real Madrid are wanting to sign him but he is happy at Dortmund now.

“He wants to win the Champions League and he won't leave Dortmund for more money. It will be only for ambition.

“Haaland is like [Zlatan] Ibrahimovic when he was 20. Solskjaer is a good guy but he was wrong when he said that Erling is like [Romelu] Lukaku.

“It would be better if Solskjaer thought about finding a way to make Pogba play like a champion, instead of talking about Haaland."

While Haaland’s father, former Manchester City star Alf-Inge Haaland, has said: "Now he is happy at Dortmund, but Erling loves challenges and in football you never know. We will see.

"He loved Ibrahimovic [as a child] and Cristiano, but also Balotelli. His hero, however, was Robin Hood. Once we went together to Sherwood Forest.

“He likes to cook and I can assure you that he is a great chef. He prefers above all meat or fish, he is a food freak.”
