The Champions League draw will set out each team’s route to the final in Istanbul, with the quarter-finals and semi-finals set to be announced all in one go. A supercomputer has predicted the fixtures for the draw ahead of time, featuring a mouth-watering tie between Jurgen Klopp’s and Mauricio Pochettino’s teams.

Liverpool eased through to the quarter-final stages of the Champions League, after beating RB Leipzig 4-0 over two legs.

Chelsea, meanwhile, kept two clean sheets in their clashes against La Liga giants Atletico Madrid on their way to a convincing 3-0 aggregate win.

Manchester City also progressed to the next round, after winning 4-0 over two ties against Bundesliga outfit Borussia Monchengladbach.

Elsewhere, there were also wins for Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), Real Madrid, and Bayern Munich.

A supercomputer has now predicted the draw for both the quarter-finals and the semi-finals.

The prediction comes in advance of the real Champions League draw, which takes place on Friday morning (11am UK time).

Liverpool were drawn against Pochettino’s PSG, who got past Barcelona in the Round of 16.

Thomas Tuchel and Chelsea will be facing another Madrid club in the competition, when Los Blancos come to Stamford Bridge.

Manchester City face a replay of their group stage matches against FC Porto.

City ultimately earned four points across their two matches, but the clashes were overshadowed by their fiery nature.

Raheem Sterling and centre-back Pepe almost came to blows in the final game of the group stages, at the Etihad Stadium.

There’s also an all-German affair, as the supercomputer predicted Bayern Munich to take on rivals Borussia Dortmund.

The winners of those matches will progress to the semi-finals of the Champions League.

The semi-finals draw will be made at the same time as the quarter-finals draw.

The supercomputer predicted that either PSG or Liverpool will play against Chelsea or Real Madrid.

Bayern or Dortmund would then take on the winner of City vs Porto.
