Arsenal Premier League title winning chances have been boosted by their win over Luton

But Tuesday night’s win has promoted Opta’s supercomputer to rethink its position on the north Londoners, adjusting their title chances from 15.4 per cent to 17.4.

That shift sees Arsenal move ahead of Liverpool in their calculations, though the Reds will have the chance to close the gap at the top when they meet Sheffield United at Bramall Lane on Wednesday.

However, the overwhelming favourites for this season’s crown remain Pep Guardiola’s side, who boast a whopping title winning percentage of 66.1 per cent.

The defending champions have drawn their last three games in the division and face another tricky tie against Aston Villa at Villa Park.
