Accrington vs Portsmouth preview
Accrington have Connor Ripley available for Saturday’s Sky Bet League One home clash with leaders Portsmouth, which Jordan Clark will sit out.
Fourth-placed Stanley can call on Ripley again after the goalkeeper completed the three-match suspension he incurred with his sending-off at Shrewsbury on October 6.
Winger Clark must serve a one-game ban having picked up his fifth yellow card of the season in Tuesday’s 4-1 loss at Luton. Seamus Conneely, who has been sidelined by a groin issue, is not expected to feature this weekend and Harvey Rodgers is still unavailable due to his knee problem.
Portsmouth will be without Dion Donohue, with the midfielder set to be out for around a month with a hamstring injury. Donohue was forced off in the first half of the 2-2 Fratton Park draw with Burton on Tuesday.
Tom Naylor moved on to five bookings in that match so will also serve a one-game suspension. Oliver Hawkins went off having hurt his ankle but is expected to be fit for Saturday. Andre Green (knee) is still out.
