In three games, Walker has already kicked more goals than last season
Is it too early in the season to dream we could have a century goal-kicker this season?
Because Adelaide star Taylor Walker is on pace to comfortably pass three figures in 2021.

‘Tex’ Walker kicked another bag of six goals to take his tally from three games to 17 as the Crows beat Gold Coast by 10 points on Friday night.
Walker has kicked five, six and now 6.3 in his first three matches as the Crows have returned as a far more attacking side following a difficult few seasons.
Walker has already passed his 15-goal tally from 2020 which was the best at the Crows while he isn’t out by himself in the Coleman Medal tally with Western Bulldogs forward Josh Bruce close behind on 14 goals after his 10-goal haul on Friday and Gold Coast’s Ben King, 10 goals, in third place.
Richmond’s Jack Riewoldt (on eight goals), is still to play this round.
“Tex is in some reasonable form which helps,” Adelaide coach Matthew Nicks dead-panned on Friday night as his side improved their record to 2-1 [win-loss].
“There is no fountain of youth. I’ve said it for three weeks now, he is no younger or fitter than what he was last year.
“He is in some great form, we can’t hide from that, and he’s in some great form because of the way the team is playing around him.
“It’s a credit to him and I’m enjoying, I’m loving, the way he is playing his footy and he is getting the return he deserves.
“Tonight he probably had a number of contests where you sit back, clap your hands and say ‘that was just individual brilliance’.

“Let’s hope he can keep his form up.”
Nicks was asked the same question everyone else in the AFL will be asking – can Walker keep this form up?
Nicks thinks that will come down to whether his side keeps playing with the confidence and dash they are currently playing with.
“I hope we keep our form where it is and I’m confident we will because we are an enthusiastic group, we like the way we are playing our footy,” Nicks said.
“Tex mentioned something in the rooms about [his goals] just being the cream on top, the boys are doing the hard work, seeking the contest, surging the ball forward and Tex is finishing off things at the moment.”
