NHL DFS: Best DraftKings, FanDuel daily fantasy hockey picks for November 13

The 2018-19 NHL season rolls on with a nine-game slate for DFS on Tuesday beginning at 7:00 p.m. ET. The Tuesday night offering will bring superstars like Penguins center Sidney Crosby and Capitals winger Alex Ovechkin to the ice. However, affording that sort of firepower will require some creativity with your NHL DFS lineups. That is why you’ll want to see DFS millionaire Mike McClure’s Tuesday NHL DFS picks before locking anything in. McClure is a DFS professional with nearly $2 million in career winnings.

He’s also a predictive data engineer at SportsLine who uses a powerful prediction model that simulates every minute of every game 10,000 times, taking factors like matchups, statistical trends and injuries into account. This allows him to find the best NHL DFS values and create optimal lineups that he shares only over at SportsLine. They’re a must-see for any NHL DFS player.

On Monday, McClure recommended Hurricanes goalie Scott Darling on FanDuel for $7,600. The result? Darling made 33 stops against his former team, the Chicago Blackhawks, as he piled up over 30 points and 4x value for owners.

For Tuesday, McClure likes Flyers center Sean Couturier at $6,200 on both sites.

Couturier is coming off a brilliant two-goal, one-assist performance against the Blackhawks on Saturday where he was an impressive plus-four performer. That gives him points in three consecutive games and he has returned at least 5.5x value to FanDuel players in two of those games. Plug him into your lineup for a huge potential return.

McClure also likes Kyle Palmieri at $6,300 on FanDuel and $6,400 on DraftKings. The Devils winger has 10 goals already this season. Palmieri has started the season hot, with seven goals in his first four games. However, he has cooled off in the goal-scoring department, with just three scores since.

That doesn’t mean that he’s cooled off altogether. Palmieri still has nine points in his past 11 games and 16 points in 15 games this season. Against the Penguins, he has nine goals in 18 games, so get him into your lineups on Tuesday night and expect big things.

McClure is also targeting an undervalued player who is set to go off for big numbers because of a dream matchup, and he comes at a price that will leave plenty of salary cap flexibility. Picks like these could be the difference between winning your cash games and tournaments or going home with nothing.
