Why Simone Biles is actually mad, despite winning historic 4th world title

Simone Biles took some time off after winning five medals at the Rio Olympics in 2016 – four were gold – returned to gymnastics about a year ago and just reminded the world how exceptionally talented, hard-working and dominant she is.

At the world championships in Doha, Qatar on Thursday, Biles became the first female gymnast to win four all-around world championships. And this is after she was in the hospital this weekend for a kidney stone.

But despite making history – she also finished with her largest margin of victory at world championships, ahead of Japan’s Mai Murakami and fellow American Morgan Hurd – Biles is not particularly proud of herself.
