Referee stops Colorado-Utah game because of snowballs

Who doesn’t love a good snowball fight?

One referee in Saturday’s game between Colorado and Utah begs to differ.

The official briefly stopped the contest in the second quarter to ask fans in the stands to stop throwing snowballs at players on the field.

Utah went on to win the game, 30-7, as freshman quarterback Jason Shelley completed 11-of-23 passes for 221 yards and two touchdowns.
