NFL's richest owners in 2018

When David Tepper completed his purchase of the Carolina Panthers, he immediately became one of the NFL’s richest team owners … but not the richest.

Of the 32 NFL team owners (or ownership groups), 23 individuals have estimated or reported net worths of more than $1 billion. That’s a lot of zeros combining to form the governing body of the league.

With the help of Forbes’ evaluations and a handful of other sources, Sporting News has listed the NFL’s 10 wealthiest owners, plus the richest of the rest. Forbes’ evaluations are as of May 2018.
