NFL Thanksgiving game schedule: Times, TV channels, odds, how to watch online

Thanksgiving and football have go together like turkey and stuffing, and with the holiday comes hours of football for fans to enjoy between bites.

As always, the 2018 schedule features both the Lions and Cowboys, two Turkey Day fixtures for decades. Detroit hosts the Bears, no strangers to Thanksgiving games themselves, while Dallas welcomes the the Redskins. This year’s primetime game is between the Saints and Falcons in New Orleans.

All three games are NFC divisional matchups between rivals, which hopefully should make for an entertaining afternoon.

Here’s everything to know about how to watch the games, including streaming information and betting odds. 

Straight up | Against the spread

Lions vs. Bears (-3) start time, how to watch

Time: 12:30 p.m. ET

TV channel: CBS

The Bears (7-3) head to Detroit to take on the Lions (4-6) in an NFC North matchup. The Bears come into the game in first place, while the Lions bring up the rear.

Bears quarterback Mitchell Trubisky injured his shoulder in Week 11 and is considered doubtful to play. Backup Chase Daniel would get the start if Trubisky can’t go.

The Bears boast the most takeaways on defense in the league, and Matthew Stafford and the Lions offense will need to be ready for a physical game.

Cowboys (-7) vs. Redskins start time, how to watch

Time: 4:30 p.m. ET

TV Channel: Fox

The Redskins (6-4) take on the Cowboys (5-5) in Dallas in a NFC East matchup that could have serious playoff contentions, with the division lead up for grabs.

The Redskins offense will feature Colt McCoy at quarterback after Alex Smith went down with a broken leg in Week 11. 

This will be the second meeting between these two teams this season, with the Redskins taking the win in their last game.

Saints (-12.5) vs. Falcons start time, how to watch

Time: 8:20 p.m. ET

TV Channel: NBC

In the third and final game of the holiday, the Falcons visit New Orleans to face the Saints in what could be a high-scoring NFC South showdown.

The 9-1 Saints are coming off a blowout win over the Giants in Week 11 while the Falcons (4-6) fell to the Cowboys at home.

Drew Brees is having an MVP-caliber season. He leads a high-octane Saints offense that has scored 45 points or more in three consecutive games against a Falcons defense that is allowing the fourth-most points and yards against this season.
