Kevin Faulk involved in postgame skirmish after Texas A&M beat LSU in seven overtimes
Overtime can be stressful. Playing seven overtimes can cause tempers to flare.
That appears to be what happened Saturday night after Texas A&M beat LSU 74-72 in seven overtimes.
According to The Baton Rouge Advocate, LSU analyst Steve Kragthorpe, a special assistant who suffers from Parkinson's disease, was punched on the field after LSU's loss.
A photographer for the The Advocate, tweeted a photo of LSU director of player development Kevin Faulk, a former LSU and NFL star running back, getting into a physical altercation after the game with a man wearing a red shirt. The tweet said the man was wearing "what appears to be an #Aggie bench credential."
The newspaper also reported that radio sideline reporter Gordy Rush said on WDGL-FM 98.1 that the man wearing the red shirt was the one who had punched Kragthorpe.
