Fantasy Injury Updates: Chris Carson, Sony Michel, Kerryon Johnson among key Week 10 RB active/inactives
Leonard Fournette will finally be active again, as he isn’t even listed on the Jaguars injury report, but there are still several key “questionable” RBs this week, including Chris Carson, Sony Michel, and Kerryon Johnson. If any are inactive, it will have quite the domino effect on Week 10 fantasy start ’em, sit ’em calls. As always, we’re ready to update our running back rankings after the latest updates.

Is Chris Carson playing in Week 10?
In classic Seahawks fashion, Carson (hip) was held out of practice all week, but coach Pete Carroll still offered a small vote of confidence by saying Carson “has been getting better”.
At this point, Carson looks more “doubtful” than “questionable”, but the Seahawks have a way of surprising fantasy owners with not only active/inactives but also playing time. We’d bank on Mike Davis starting and getting the bulk of the RB touches — something that could prove profitable given how well Seattle backs fared against the Rams in Week 5 (Carson had 116 rushing yards; Davis had 68 yards and a TD). Pencil in Davis as a high-floor RB2 if Carson is out. If Carson is active, consider him a risky RB2/FLEX.
WEEK 10 PPR RANKINGS: Running back | Wide receiver | Tight end
Is Sony Michel playing in Week 10?
After missing the past two games because of a knee injury, Michel was limited in practice all week and listed as “questionable” for Sunday’s game in Tennessee. ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported late Saturday that Michel is expected to play.
With a Week 11 bye on the horizon, Michel’s availability and usage are in question. If Michel is active, it will be tough to sit him against a Titans defense allowing 89 rushing yards/game to RBs (13th). If he is out again, Cordarrelle Patterson would likely serve as a New England’s “power back” — and worthwhile FLEX — again.

Kerryon Johnson injury update
An ankle injury limited Johnson in practice all week and has caused him to be listed as “questionable” for Sunday’s game against the Bears.
There hasn’t been much concern throughout the week about Johnson’s availability, but the injury sure doesn’t help his outlook against a Chicago defense allowing the fewest fantasy points per game to RBs. If Johnson is a surprise scratch, LeGarrette Blount will receive a bump in value in standard league, though Theo Riddick might get an even bigger bump in PPR leagues thanks to the few extra targets he figures to receive.
