NBA insider’s verdict on when Anthony Davis will leave Lakers for Chicago Bulls
Anthony Davis has been tipped to join the Chicago Bulls – but only after he’s secured multiple championship with the Los Angeles Lakers.
That’s according to former NBA star Jalen Rose who reckons a departure from California will happen at some point.

Davis fuelled speculation about his future earlier this week after he appeared to hint at a possible Bulls move.
"I don't know… I mean, I am a free agent next year, but we'll see. It's a possibility,” he said when asked about switching franchises.
However, he quickly sought to clarify his comments and pour cold water on the rumours.
Rose says Davis will pack his bags – just not yet.
“I don’t think it’ll happen in this off season,” he told ESPN .
“But don’t underestimate it happening at all. Let me give you an example, I came on and said Davis would end up a member of the Lakers. He ended up playing with that team.
“Here’s what you’ve got to pay attention to.
“Think about when LeBron [James] left Cleveland to join the [Miami] Heat. That was so he could be in the championship conversation.
“When Kevin Durant left Oklahoma City Thunder to join the Warriors so he could be in the championship conversation.
“Davis left New Orleans to join the Lakers so he could be in the championship conversation.
“Once LeBron and Durant won championships, what did they do? They left.”
Davis only joined the Lakers earlier this year.
Rose says he’ll want to make his mark at the Staples Center.
“He’s not leaving after this year. I say championships,” he added.
“LeBron went and won two. Durant went and won two. For those not paying attention, LeBron is balling and killing, but he is in his 17th season.
“At some point Davis, if he delivers with LeBron a couple of championships, he feels like he paid his debt.”
