NBA All-Star Draft 2019: Live results, rosters for Team LeBron, Team Giannis
With the NBA trade deadline now out of the equation, the focus shifts to All-Star weekend.
All-Star captains LeBron James and Giannis Antetokounmpo will pick their teams Thursday, and the results will be revealed as part of TNT’s “NBA All-Star Draft Show” (7 p.m. ET). Antetokoumpo has already said he plans on taking Stephen Curry with his first draft pick, but he’ll have to wait for James, who holds the No. 1 overall selection after receiving the most All-Star fan votes.

So, how does this draft work? Here’s a brief explanation on the process.
Each team will each have 13 players. James and Antetokounmpo can draft their rosters regardless of conference affiliation. Team LeBron has the No. 1 overall pick for the starter pool, and Team Giannis selects first for the reserve pool. Team LeBron and Team Giannis will alternate picks each round.
NBA commissioner Adam Silver made Dirk Nowitzki and Dwyane Wade special additions for a bonus draft round. Team LeBron will get the first choice in that round as well. (With Wade being one of James’ best friends, it’s safe to say he will be going with the Heat guard.)
Sporting News will update the rosters below as the picks are announced. Let’s see how the teams stack up…
