Full brother to Estijaab headed for Rosehill
The full brother to 2018 Golden Slipper winner Estijaab looks set to begin his own quest to capture the coveted Rosehill feature this weekend.
Unraced colt Remarque is one of 21 juveniles nominated for two-year-old event on Saturday and Hawkes Racing are keen to give the regally-bred colt his chance.
Remarque is by Snitzel out of Response – the same formula breeders used with success with Estijaab.
Estijaab gave John, Wayne and Michael Hawkes one of their most memorable moments on the racetrack when saluting in the Slipper three years ago.
It is hoped her sibling can follow a similar path to glory in 2021.
Remarque has already thrown himself into Slipper calculations for some astute judges before he’s made his racing debut.

The promising colt has caught the eye when winning both of his trials impressively, including a 3-3/4 length triumph on his home track over 900m last week.
It’s seen him installed as a $17 chance with TAB.com.au in this year’s Golden Slipper ahead of his likely debut at Rosehill this weekend.
“There is no where to hide and if you have a good one you just have to produce it,” Wayne Hawkes told RSN on Tuesday.
“It is not a stakes race on Saturday, it is just a normal race but I was talking to Michael this morning and he was pretty happy with how he worked this morning.
“It’s all systems are go for Saturday.”
Remarque sits on the same line of betting as recent Randwick winner Four Moves Ahead and Saturday class winner Captivant.
The Ciaron Maher and David Eustace-trained Enthaar holds down favouritism at $6 after impressing in a trial hit out at Werribee on Tuesday morning.
