All eyes will be on Al Boum Photo in the Gold Cup in the final day of the 2021 Cheltenham Festival but there’s a number of horses well in contention to spring a surprise. Rachael Blackmore has stolen the headlines in this year’s festival with five wins already heading into Friday’s races.

And the 31-year-old will be looking to create more history on A Plus Tard by becoming the first female jocket to win the blue riband event.

But there are also fancied contenders such as Champ, Native River and Minella Indo who will also be aiming to take victory in the Gold Cup.

There is set to be plenty of excitement elsewhere throughout the day as well though with seven races in total at Cheltenham.
