National anthem time

Bay area legend Tony Lindsay, of Santana fame, has just belted out a stirring rendition of the American national anthem, we’re just a few minutes away now.

Tatum struggling inside

Jayson Tatum has hit 14 of his 31 threes this series but made the same number of buckets from 51 shots inside the arc.

That’s peculiar – 45% from deep but 27% for two-pointers.

He’s got a beautiful shooting stroke, one of the best in the NBA, but he’s having trouble driving to the hoop against the Golden State defence, particularly Andrew Wiggins and Kevon Looney.

Welcome to Game 5

Welcome to live coverage of game five of the NBA Finals. The series moves back to San Francisco tied up at 2-2 after Golden State’s 107-97 win over the Celtics in game four at Boston.

Steph Curry is closing in on his first Finals MVP, averaging 34.3 points per game, 6.3 rebounds and 3.8 assists.

All Star forward Jayson Tatum has 22.3, 7 and 7.8 for the Celtics and his support cast has been much more reliable than Curry’s Warriors crew.

Boston are 7-0 in the playoffs in matches coming off a loss, including game three of this series but the Warriors are favourites for this clash at the Chase Center.

The players are on court warming up now, we will have all the action, as it happens, shortly.
