Real Madrid’s £43million signing Eder Militao almost passed out under the strain of the Spanish heat during his first press conference.
Militao sat down to conduct his first exchange with the press but found himself becoming light headed and had to cut the conference short owing to feeling unwell.
The defender passed his medical and was unveiled in front thousands of adoring fans at the Bernabeu earlier in the day but was visibly struggling when he later took questions from the media.

He loosened his tie and reached for a glass of water in an attempt to cool himself down
But the pain was evident for all to see and he eventually had to excuse himself from the room
The 21-year-old Brazilian, who has five caps for his country, complained of feeling dizzy before loosening his tie and making a swift exit from the conference room.
‘I’m feeling dizzy,’ he said. ‘This is quite an emotional day for me.’
Militao attempted to cool down in the 32-degree heat by drinking a glass of water, but eventually decided he needed to take himself out of the heat.
Beforehand, in the fleeting statement he did give, he pledged to give his all for the club.
‘You can expect a competitive player and he will give everything,’ he added. ‘I will play as if it were always the last game.’
