Liverpool handed major injury boost ahead of Tottenham clash: FIVE stars back

Henderson was a doubt but he managed to come off the bench for England against Montenegro last night and provide a fine assist for Raheem Sterling.

But the biggest boost to Liverpool will be return of their defensive duo Gomez and Lovren, who help plug the gap next to Virgil van Dijk.

Joel Matip has been a fine stand-in but with four fit defenders, the Reds’ title hopes can increase.

Gomez, in particular, will give Klopp glee after performing brilliantly before being struck down by a broken leg three months ago.

Another long-term absentee had been Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who was injured in last year’s Champions League semi-final against Roma.

The former Arsenal star has recently returned to training but was subbed off in the first half in an U23 match against Derby earlier this month.

It leaves Rhian Brewster, who has yet to make his Liverpool debut, as the only injury left in the physic room.
