Steelers legend Terry Bradshaw says he would have paid Le’Veon Bell and traded Antonio Brown earlier

Terry Bradshaw would have paid running back Le’Veon Bell and traded wide receiver Antonio Brown far earlier than the Steelers decided to.

The Pittsburgh legend opened up to the Tribune-Review this week and had plenty to say about the two players who got away this offseason.

“I would have paid Le’Veon, I would have given him money,” Bradshaw said. “Once again, I don’t know what kind of teammate he was. A good guy, a bad guy? I don’t know what. But the Steelers, if you mess with them, if you’re not a good person, they are going to unload you. That’s the way it used to be. I’m glad they got rid of that guy (Brown).”

The Steelers placed the franchise tag on Bell before the 2018 season but he never signed it and decided to sit out the entire year in hopes of hitting free agency in 2019.
