Davante Adams injury update: Packers star (toe) ruled out vs. Lions

Davante Adams will miss the Packers’ Week 6 matchup against the Lions as he continues to deal with a toe injury, coach Matt LaFleur told reporters Saturday.

Monday’s game marks the second Adams has missed after being diagnosed with turf toe. He was seen at practice this week, but didn’t participate.

Adams was injured during the Packers’ Week 4 loss to the Eagles in the fourth quarter and watched the end of the game from the sideline in what he described as “a little bit of pain.”

The Packers played well without Adams last week, beating the Cowboys 34-24. Tight end Jimmy Graham and receivers Geronimo Allison and Marquez Valdes-Scantling are expected to get more targets in Adams’ absence.
