West Indies vs England LIVE SCORECARD: Follow the latest from day three of the second Test in Antigua as hosts look to enforce advantage

  • West Indies begin day three on 272-6, a lead of 85 over England in Antigua
  • England bowled very on day two but received little reward for their pressure
  • Stuart Broad was the pick of England’s bowlers with three wickets

Quick wickets are urgently needed for England as they look to stop West Indies from recording a sizeable first innings advantage in the second Test in Anitgua.

The hosts resume on 272-6, a lead of 85 with Dwayne Bravo still at the crease having made a stubborn 33 off of 169 deliveries.

Stuart Broad was by far the pick of England’s bowlers on day two and deserved far better than his three wickets for 42 runs.

‘This game is still in the balance,’ Broad said at the end of day two.

‘I know they’ve got a decent lead but all we need to do is match whatever they get and I would look forward to bowling on that on day four.

‘If we got 140 on the board I’d fancy our chances.’

But he admitted he was dismayed at how little luck England had in return for bowling so well.

‘I feel a bit lost how we have only got six wickets to be brutally honest,’ Broad added.

‘Cricket sometimes turns on you slightly through no fault of your own and I cannot say we’ve done a lot wrong.’
